A Rare Case of Massive Left Atrial Myxoma Presenting as Syncope

We report a rare case of large left atrial myxoma that manifested as syncope in patient who presented to the hospital following syncopal episode. Our had history hypertension and anemia with reported two months dyspnea on exertion. He was found have myxoma. Atrial myxomas are most common benign primary cardiac tumors. Patients may be asymptomatic or experience shortness breath, palpitations, syncope, sudden death. Cases caused by been rarely documented. adds growing literature documenting this phenomenon. Larger observational studies needed properly define incidence causing syncope.
